Fischel armchair in bent wood, early 20th century

Rare Fischel armchair in bent wood, early 20th century. Very beautiful model in bent beech featuring a particularly graphic construction, with four legs arranged in a diamond shape and curved reinforcements under the seat. The armchair is also distinguished by its seat and wide backrest in grooved wood, as well as its large curved arch forming the backrest and armrests. Original Fischel paper label still present under the seat, attesting to the manufacture. Beautiful old honey patina preserved, with signs of use, marks, and small scratches consistent with its age. An old localized injury/wear is present on the curved wooden arch and visible in the photographs. Lightweight and particularly decorative armchair, representative of bent wood furniture from the early 20th century. Dimensions: H 79 × W 50 × D 53 cm. Seat height: 47 cm. Seat width: approx. 42 cm.
