Antique Leather Studded Console Table in Gothic Pugin Style Restored

We are delighted to present this unique Gothic Pugin-style console, fully restored, in hand-studded brown leather with a unique drawer. It is an exceptional piece of art. It is made in the Gothic Pugin style and dates from the early Victorian era, around 1840. The patina is exceptional, a true feast for the eyes. The structure is made of oak and is upholstered in hand-studded leather using standard, medium, and oversized brass nails. The leather has been restored with a light wash and then hand-dyed in this beautiful cigar brown colour. Dimensions: Height 82.5 cm from top to bottom, 74.5 cm to the top of the table, width 92 cm, depth 46 cm. Measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Wimbledon. Condition: Please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that vintage and original items such as leather will always have a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to prevent moisture loss, and hand-dyed leather is not recommended to be exposed to prolonged direct sunlight as this will dry it out and discolour it.
