Mithé espelt pink bird mirror

Very beautiful vintage ceramic mirror created by the french artist marie-thérèse espelt, known as mithé (1923-2020). The decoration represents a pink and white bird in green foliage decorated with pink berries or flowers. The rest of the frame is beautifully gilded. This soft mirror will bring a breath of fresh air to your interior. It dates from the 60s and 70s. The back is covered with green felt. Not signing her works, mithé espelt remained an anonymous ceramist for a long time. Today, she is recognized for having created a poetic, joyful and colorful style of her own, in which flowers and birds flourish. Condition: perfect condition.
