From my personal collection: very rare vase by aldo londi for bitossi dating from the early 1960s as indicated by the old type marking under the base "b 8/15 italy"; the b in fact indicates a marking from the 50s-early 60s. The background color is light gray with "pastel" green and blue bands. I don't know of any other vase of this shape. On the other hand, I came across this brutalist decor in an orange version on another bitossi ceramic. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other defects. Height 15cm -- base diameter 8.5cm -- neck diameter 13cm -- max diameter at the center of the vase 18cm.
