Refined earthenware sugar bowl from the Saint-Amand & Hamage factory (Nord), decorated with the charming Campanule motif in wine-red transfer. This model, typical of the late 19th century, features a lush floral design of bells and stylized foliage, delicately framed by a frieze of vines and garlands. The domed lid, adorned with an openwork ring-shaped handle with a scroll, echoes the same design, creating a harmonious ensemble. The scrolled handles, also adorned with the design, highlight the finesse of the modeling and the careful craftsmanship characteristic of the Saint-Amand earthenware factories. Stamp: Saint-Amand & Hamage (Nord) – Campanule model. Height 13 cm – width including handles approximately 20 cm, height without lid 9 cm. Good overall condition considering its age, with a fine network of cracks in the glaze and some signs of wear, a dark stain on the lid (see photos). Perfect for a romantic French cottage or elegant country home.
