Art Deco style table lamp base in black and pink Bohemian crystal.

Period: c. 1930. This Art Deco table lamp is made of Czech crystal (Bohemian glass) cut into faceted geometric shapes. The hexagonal base is made of opaque black crystal. The stem, which is in the shape of an inverted hexagonal pyramid, is a transparent old rose colour. The metal plate on the base indicates "Czechoslovakia". The socket has a type C plug (2 pins without earth) and is currently adapted for European voltage (230 volts - 50 Hz).
