Spectacular pop-art wall sculpture by matius (haute-provence), france, 1970s. Matius created this artwork from fractal resin. By sending an electric current through the resin, this material takes on an appearance reminiscent of amber crystals or cracked ice. Because of the hollow space behind the artwork, it lends itself perfectly to use with lighting, which is included as a loose fitting (e14), so it can also be used as a wall lamp (see photos).
