Handmade carpet from Turkmenistan. This entirely handmade carpet is made of wool. A very decorative piece from the 1980s, in very good condition. The splendid colours appear lighter in the photos. The soft wool has retained its thickness. These carpets resemble Afghan carpets with their characteristic dominant red and black colours. Partial wear on the fringes and cracks on the border should be noted. The visible imperfections are a testament to manual and artisanal work. Dimensions: approximately 96 X 68 cm.
