Lamp perspex by Stilux

Alongside companies like Arteluce, Arredoluce and Stilnovo, Stilux was one of the manufacturers that has changed the face of Italian lighting design in the 1950s. Although not as known as counterparts, Stilux has had a very progressive design approach. As the company was the first to apply (plexiglas) plastics in practically all its lighting fixtures. This particular pendant, which can be adjusted in height, shows a striking combination of brass, black enamelled metal and plexiglass. Note the beautiful details, asymmetrical cable hole and slots in the luminaire.
