Trunk 1900

Beautiful antique french steamer trunk from the 1900's, in lovely vintage condition, given its great age! Made of wood covered with fine waxed canvas / paper - gorgeous chocolate brown with wooden reinforcement bands studded with brass nails. Reinforced all round on metal with tiny studs. Two front latches missing, easily replaced / restored, intact center front latch allowing it to be closed for transport. Opens and closes smoothly and snugly! Hinges in good functional condition. Inside, with "time-worn" striped paper (see photos) - very shabby-chic, but could be relined if wished.
