Danish Teak Highboard, 1960s

1960s Danish teak highboard with sliding doors, three central drawers and sculpted solid teak pulls. Recessed upper section. A Danish-made highboard from the 1960s in oil-treated teak veneer. The recessed upper section, framed by shaped, gently curved sides, closes with sliding doors with inset grips, teardrop-shaped and slot-shaped. Below, three drawers with sculpted teak pulls sit between compartments with interior shelves. Tapered legs joined by stretchers lighten the volume, in keeping with the language of Danish modernism and its attention to function and the quality of the wood. Good condition.
