Vintage Harry Bertoia bench for Knoll – 1960s – Chrome frame & side

Rare vintage bench designed by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International. An iconic piece of mid-century design, featuring a chromed steel frame and solid wood slats. This bench dates from the mid-20th century (likely the 1960s) and is in very good vintage condition, with an elegant natural patina consistent with its age. The wood shows slight signs of wear, and the metal frame is solid and stable. A timeless design object, perfect for an entryway, living room, or interior design project. Did you know that this is the first item designed by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, in 1952. The leg design already reveals the characteristic style of welded frames also found in typical Bertoia chairs.
