Old marine trunk in camphor tree

Authentic old trunk in camphor wood with a beautiful patina of time. The pleasant smell of camphor remains strong despite the years when you open the trunk. Camphor wood is a natural moth repellent, hence its use on long boat trips to protect clothing. Entirely original trunk, the reinforcements, corner angles, handles and locks are made of brass. Ideal in coffee table, at the end of the sofa or of course in decoration! Good condition, note that the top of the trunk is slightly cracked, without any consequence on its strength (visible more inside, see photo).
