Chest of drawers

Art deco style chest of drawers from the 1930s, in solid elm, art deco motifs on each side of the drawers, 4 drawers, large storage. It was completely sanded and cleaned. The exterior surfaces (except under and behind) are painted in china clay dark 178 from littlegreene + waxed finish. It is a beige color based on the tones of clay, with a touch of powder pink, close to a light mole. The handles are new, made of brass. The inside of the drawers has been cleaned, it is left raw. The chest of drawers is strong, stable, heavy. The drawers close well. The main impacts, insect holes or scratches of the exterior surfaces are repaired and covered by paint. Despite the care given to the renovation, there are still some small imperfections or traces of time, they are related to the age of the furniture and participate in its charm. In particular, there are slight slots in the wood on the facades of a drawer (see photos in close-up). We also note the presence of an indelible stain on the bottom of the 4th drawer (see also photo). Total dimensions: height 92.5 cm, depth 49.5 cm, width 99 cm. Inner height of the drawers: 12.5 cm for the 1st drawer, 15 cm for the other 3.
