A rare piece with a minimalist design, the Sandoz stool with sabre legs was created by the famous designer Charlotte Perriand in 1962. Legs: 40cm Seat diameter: 31 cm and thickness: 5cm. Originally designed in 1955 to adorn Charlotte Perriand's personal chalet in Méribel, it gained greater notoriety when the designer adapted the design to equip the Swiss Sandoz Laboratories in 1962. This stool was then chosen to furnish the new apartments of the ski resort of Les Arcs 1800, in the French Alps. Coming from a private apartment. Excellent general condition. Simply renovated with care.
