Pair of B64 armchairs with armrests Marcel Breuer

THE piece that needs no introduction! Icon of modernist design, inspired by the Bauhaus and created by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s, here is the B64 armchair which is the version with armrests of the famous B32 chair. It is also called Cesca in honor of his daughter FranCESCA. The tubular structure is in chromed steel, the seat and backrest are in woven rattan, the frame is in black lacquered beech. Impeccable manufacturing and attention to detail that make this armchair so attractive. Both robust, minimalist and comfortable, it fits easily into any type of interior. This is a pair of identical armchairs offered here, in very good used condition. The caning of the two seats has been redone. We therefore note a small difference in color between the caning of the seats and the caning of the backrests. The feet are slightly pitted in places without this harming the general aesthetics of these two armchairs.
