Photographic print after Roger Corbeau, framed, 30 x 40 cm

Photographic print from an exhibition dedicated to photographer Roger Corbeau, famous for his cinema portraits. It features Jean Gabin in a scene from the film Voici le temps des assassins, directed by Julien Duvivier in 1956, a major figure in French noir cinema. Printed on satin Bristol board with a slightly glossy surface, the image subtly captures the contrasts of black and white. The whole is mounted under glass, in a 30 X 40 cm black frame with a cream mat. A sober and evocative decorative piece, from an institutional exhibition celebrating the seventh art.
