Mezzaluna floor lamp by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper and Pollux 1974

This magnificent Italian halogen floor lamp, mezzaluna model, was designed by bruno gecchelin in 1974 and produced by skipper and pollux in milan. The lamp is in good condition and works, a dimmer located on the lampshade regulates the intensity of the light. The height is adjustable. The chrome-plated tubular steel shaft moves up and down as needed. (from 178 to 208 cm) The base is in black marble and the stem is chrome. The originality lies in the design of the lampshade, here black enameled. It is adjustable. Has some defects, particularly on the lampshade which has several small impacts made less visible by black wax. A few spots of oxidation on the stem. The marble bears some very light impacts.
