'Stijlrelief' C1699 wall lamp in glass by Willem van Oyen for RAAK 1960s

Coloured glass composition held by a metal frame. Good vintage condition. This wall lamp is designed by Willem van Oyen and manufactured by Raak in the Netherlands in the 1960s. The wall light is constructed of an interesting composition of coloured glass. The colours and shapes make it unique creations. The glass plate is held in a metal frame that is fixed to the wall. When the light is on it mainly shows in the coloured glass; and also a bit up and down on the wall. Willem Van Oyen (1921-2004) belonged to a family of well-known painters. After his studies at the National Academy in Amsterdam he specialized in glass art. He designed and produced several lamps in glass for Raak in his small factory BEVO glasindustrie in Amsterdam. We have cleaned the lamp in our professional workshop. You can choose the bulb - standard size E27.
