Deschamps Freres butter dish with silver-plated metal shell and V-shaped bowl

Butter dish in the shape of a shell in silver plated metal from the Deschamps Freres silversmiths (hallmark D.Fes + rooster's head and hallmark silvering weight 6 grams). With its small sandblasted glass cup in the shape of a shell which fits perfectly inside the case + small knife, also Deschamps Freres. It opens thanks to a small ball on the top and rests on 3 ball feet. Small trace of corrosion (see photos) but which does not spoil its authentic charm. Very good condition considering its age. Dimensions approximately: Length 16cm Width 11cm Height 5cm Weight 275g.
