Made from fibre-cement, each planter consists of a wide, shallow bowl resting on a separate conical base. The remarkably simple construction and generous diameter of 97 cm give the pair a strong architectural and sculptural presence. Both planters retain their beautiful original exterior patina, with natural variations of grey, white, and mineral tones developed over decades of use. They are in good original vintage condition with signs of wear, stains, and surface marks consistent with age and outdoor use. One of the planters has a small crack and minor loss on the rim, clearly visible in the detailed photos.
