Émile Gallé Gueridon – Art Nouveau, dragonfly decor, v

Art Nouveau guéridon signed Gallé, circa 1900. Square top 35 X 35 cm in marquetry featuring various dragonflies and plant decoration. Signature "Gallé" inlaid in veneer on the dark brown wing of one of the dragonflies (tone on tone, distinct veining as per photo). Height: 63 cm. Openwork base with sculpted central crossbar. Traditional mortise and tenon joints, without modern screws. Very good overall condition. Possibly part of a set of nesting tables now dispersed.
