Rare Modernist Enfilade oak – Marcel Gascoin (Éd. Alvéole, c. 1960)

Magnificent quadrangular sideboard, a modernist piece of post-war furniture designed by the great French designer Marcel Gascoin (1907-1986). • Publisher: Original Alvéole edition (perfectly preserved original hexagonal label inside). • Wood: Very beautiful oak veneer with a warm grain. • Front: Opens with 3 doors to a large storage space equipped with a long internal shelf. • Details: Elegant original small brass pull handles that subtly contrast with the oak finish. • Authenticity: Presence of workshop and assembly inscriptions from the period in chalk and pencil on the top and bottom edges (visible in photos). • Condition: Very good overall vintage condition. Structure perfectly stable. Note: a discreet surface usage crack at the top of one door's junction (see detail photos), with no impact on the opening or sturdiness of the piece.
