Key data. Typology: pair of wall sconces. Period: 20th century. Material: bronze. Colour/finish: gilded. Use: interior/decorative lighting. Condition: very good condition, with patina and slight marks typical of use and age. Dimensions: 63 cm height (to the socket) × 42 cm width × 20 cm depth. Pair of gilded bronze wall sconces (fire-gilded), marked Rococo inspiration, with curved arms, abundant floral ornamentation, and a dynamic asymmetrical composition. Each sconce features three lights arranged at different levels, creating a pronounced scenographic and decorative effect. Due to their design, the quality of the casting, and the treatment of the gilding, these pieces could be attributed to Pedro Tendero, in the Spanish tradition of decorative lighting from the 20th century; however, no documentation or visible signature allows for a definitive attribution, which is therefore made with caution. The sconces are electrified, with visible sockets, and designed both as functional lighting and as decorative elements with a strong wall presence, particularly suited for reception rooms.
