Vintage toy chest with removable heart

This vintage chest has a lot of charm. It has been completely sanded to remove its austere side with its dark brown varnish. The structure is made of beech and is very solid. Plywood panels. The front has been painted in a natural linen tone with the wooden frame preserved and varnished. A pretty hand-painted wooden heart has been attached with a string and can be removed if you prefer. The interior creates a beautiful contrast with a RATTAN effect thanks to a wallpaper that gives the illusion of a natural material in black (black painted wooden uprights). On the top, arabesques with worn-effect angles bring a touch of sophistication. It will also find its place in a child's room for a SOFT AND COCOONING decoration inspired by Laura Ashley, both delicate and chic retro. But you can also place it in an entrance hall to store shoes.
