Pair of vintage bookends with polished wooden balls, Art Deco style

Elegant pair of 1950s/1960s bookends in solid oak wood, with a varnished wooden ball in honey and brown tones. The top of the vertical part is beveled for a neat finish. The underside is covered in green leather. A beautiful example of mid-century design with clean lines, perfect for enhancing a bookcase or being used as a decorative object in its own right. Dimensions Height: 14.5 cm Length: 15 cm Width: 9.7 cm Good vintage condition with some signs of wear consistent with age. One of the bookends has a small chip on the top (see photos). One of the balls moves slightly but remains firmly in place.
