Old iron clay sauceboat by Thomasin Brothers

Charming antique “terre de fer” sauceboat, signed thomassin frères – dock de l'industrie – montmartre – paris. Dating from the end of the 19th century, it features a superb blue floral decoration on an ivory background, very typical of this period. Dimensions: 26 X 10 cm condition: beautiful patina of time, cracks from use, a crack visible on one edge (see photo).
