About Arne Ingdam: Arne Ingdam (1922-2002) was a Danish ceramist, known for his unique stoneware figures, especially of animals such as hippos, bears and monkeys. He trained at the Royal Porcelain Factory under Knud Kyhn and worked most of his life from his own workshop in North Zealand. Ingdam mainly sold his works to private collectors and through shops such as Magasin du Nord. His style was characterised by robust, lifelike forms and glazed surfaces that captured animals in various lively and dynamic poses. Packed securely and sent with insurance.
