Tulip-shaped suspension in Murano glass, Italy, 1960s/70s. Impressive Italian pendant in the style of Carlo Nason for Mazzega, shaped like a flower with a clear and amber textured glass shade. This pendant is hung from a brass link chain topped with a light wood canopy. The tulip-shaped glass shade is two-tone. It is made of hand-blown clear glass, beautifully crafted with masterful waves as petals and an organic design. It is adorned with amber glass droplets that cascade from the crest downwards, drawing attention and being very decorative. The inner part of the lamp's shape is made of textured glass, creating a frosted or icy glass effect. This piece would be a lovely addition to an entrance hall, a foyer, or a bedroom. It is also interesting to hang above a kitchen table or dining nook in Midcentury, classic, or contemporary decor. 49 cm in diameter, 58 cm in height. The glass shade, without the chain, measures 49 cm in diameter X 34 cm in height. Mid-Century Modern style, Art glass, Brown glass, Brass, Glass, Murano glass, Sommerso glass, Handmade.
