Vintage barbotine pocket dish from Salins les Bains, relief decoration of fruits.

Superb rectangular dish / vintage catch-all in barbotine by the Salins-les-Bains pottery (France). This magnificent elongated plate in glazed earthenware features a rich amber background with a raised moulded decoration of colourful leaves and fruits (pears, plums, blackcurrants, and a bunch of grapes). Ideal as a catch-all in an entrance, a presentation/service tray for aperitifs, a dish for mignardises, or simply as a retro decorative object on a sideboard. The plate is in very good vintage condition. It has a shiny glaze and well-preserved colours. It shows a beautiful natural crazing of the glaze. (See photos for more details). Dimensions: 40 cm X 16 cm X 2.5 cm. An authentic piece of French ceramics, perfect for completing a barbotine collection or adding a warm, rustic touch to your interior! Fast and careful shipping.
