Moroccan tazenakht rug. Vintage moroccan rug from 1960s, made with all natural colours as if it is reflecting the beautiful colours of the mediterranean or perhaps the ocean, sand dunes, deserts and the hills, decorated with tribal patterns in multitude of pinkish reds, deep indigo blues and orange colours this is truly a beautiful rug and a gorgeous work of art. Tazenakht rugs are from high atlas area of morocco and made in the villages around zagora desert and are woven with local wool and dyes. Please note there are fringes only at one end of the rug, this is how it is supposed to be, weave was started from the looped end with no fringes and the excess warps at the end is turned in to fringes. This rug is in excellent condition and ready to use. All my rugs are professionally cleaned and dusted for you to use from the moment you receive.
