High chest of drawers in solid elm from Maison Seltz

This tall chest of drawers from the Fagus series embodies the craftsmanship of Maison Seltz, a French cabinet-making house renowned since the 1960s for the excellence and quality of its creations. Produced in the early 2000s, it continues a workshop tradition where mastery of solid wood remains central. Entirely made of solid beech, it stands out for its simple and architectural design. The solid side posts, with subtly softened edges, frame a front that is rhythmically adorned with handles sculpted directly from the mass — a precise, durable, and elegant work. The chest is divided into several drawers, some of which have double compartments, allowing for modular organisation. The whole is mounted on soft-close slides, ensuring a smooth, silent, and perfectly controlled movement. A complete sanding has been carried out to restore the wood's nobility. The finish is done with Rubio oil, revealing the depth of the grain while providing lasting protection to the material. A robust and timeless piece, born from true cabinet-making expertise.
