Curved wooden piano stool 1930

This stool in the spirit of hoffmann or thonet offers us a flashback to the beginning of the last century. We almost expect to hear aristide bruant sing us nini peau d'chien in a corner of the black cat... In varnished beech, it does not lack appeal with its beautiful blonde patina, its curved wood, its high circle bond. The original seat top, probably damaged, has been replaced by a thick circle of plywood. Against all odds, this does not serve the whole thing at all as evidenced by the photos. It can even be varnished if desired. It remains in very good general condition. The wood is healthy and the stool is sturdy and stable. The stamp is indecipherable because only a few fragments of the manufacturer's stamp remain, but we recognize a work of fine workmanship.
