Large mirror from the Napoleonic III era with a floral pediment.

Superb and imposing mirror from the Napoléon III period (19th century), measuring 145 cm wide by 187 cm high. This exceptional model stands out for its generous dimensions and its magnificent sculpted and pierced pediment, adorned with floral motifs, foliage, and a central ribbon bow typical of the era. The frame, made of gilded wood and stucco, features very elegant rounded upper corners. At the back, the original raw wooden floorboards attest to its authenticity and great age. The glass has a very beautiful overall patina. A perfect centrepiece to dress a large fireplace mantel, to be placed on the floor in a living room, or to enhance a majestic entrance.
