Magnificent and rare floor vase made of 95% pure tin, entirely handcrafted by the famous artisan Jean Goardère (awarded Best Craftsman of France in 1955). A masterful collector's piece, of exceptional size and highly sought after. Characteristics: Artist: Jean Goardère (signed under the base: "Handmade Tin 95% France Jean Goardère") Style: Elongated shape, fluted body with a wavy tulip neck, adorned halfway up with a magnificent relief knotted ribbon (signature motif of the artisan). Exceptional dimensions: Height of 57 cm / Base diameter: 17 cm. Weight: 2.4 kg (very massive and stable piece) Condition: Very good vintage condition, superb original satin patina (see photos).
