Beautiful and very impressive tea set, a museum piece, usually wrongly attributed to dr. Christofer dresser but originally designed by jean gene theobald with the tea set name "diament". Jean g. Theobald (american, active in the 1920s-1930s) This latest version was made in the uk in the 50s by the prestigious goldsmith james dixon and sons and is made from light silver plated metal, dark stained wood florets and is marked on the jd&s background. Decorative and elegant, this set has a modernist look and will match any type of décor at your home or table. The tea set was designed by gene theobald in an art deco style silver metal tea set consisting of a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl with wooden tips on the lids on a two-handle tray. Perfect fit. This is a superb contemporary silver metal tea set in the stunning art deco style. With a modernist look and present in modern art museums around the world. A piece more to expose than to use. The set includes: a teapot, a sugar bowl and a milk jug, all beautifully presented on an elegant tray. The 3 pieces rest comfortably on the tray and are typical of the minimalist decoration era.
