Wicker basket

Woven wicker case. France, 20th century. Small woven wicker case with a rigid structure, featuring a padded handle and a metal closure with a faux leather tab. The weaving alternates between light and dark fibres, forming a regular grid pattern. The interior is fully lined with blue and white gingham fabric. Height: 25 cm. Width: cm. Depth: 13 cm. The overall condition is clean, the weaving is well tensioned, with some minor signs of use on the edges and closure, consistent with usage.
