Very old workshop furniture, originally for making leather gloves. Made of oak. It has the shape of a desk, with 3 drawers, topped with a compartment that opens from above and extends like a drawer, with a front that tilts to reveal a writing surface covered in black leather. This piece features a double top, with the leather-covered one closing and hiding beneath a second solid oak top, half of which slides under the other half. There are 2 side drawers equipped with a functional lock and original shell handles. The central drawer has a similar handle. Dimensions of the furniture: Width: 139 cm, Height: 89 cm, Depth: 72 cm. Height under the central drawer (legs): 51 cm. Height of the writing surface: 68 cm. Writing space: 120 cm wide, 12 cm high, 59 cm deep. Usable interior of the central drawer: 53 cm wide, 7 cm high, 62 cm deep. Usable interior of the side drawer: 29 cm wide, 14 cm high, 62 cm deep.
