Elegant Scandinavian double-sided desk produced in Sweden at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s by SMB Bodafors, one of the country’s most respected furniture manufacturers. The original maker’s mark has been preserved on the underside, confirming its provenance. The desk is veneered in teak with a beautiful natural grain and features a clean, minimalist silhouette with rectangular, tapered legs. It offers a central drawer and two spacious cabinets at the front, while the back is fully veneered, allowing the piece to be placed freely in the room – an uncommon and desirable double-sided construction. Restored in our workshop RMP, the desk has been carefully refinished and protected with hardwax oil, ensuring both elegance and durability. Dimensions: 130 × 65 × 77 cm. A refined and functional mid-century modern piece, ideal for interiors styled with Scandinavian or modern vintage aesthetics.
