Chair A 846 by Thonet from around 1925, this production from Thonet Czechoslovakia is quite rare and features a beautiful Art Deco design. The armchairs 837, 845, 846, 847, 847F, 848 F, and 837 are commonly attributed to Otto Prutscher (see attached catalogues from Thonet 1930 and Thonet-Mundus from 1928). Extremely comfortable seating position. Label under the seat. Seat upholstered in genuine cream-white leather, already patinated and in perfect condition. The attached photos of the construction details help to accurately identify the period.
