Kalmar Suspension Tambour Drum, Brass, Frosted Textured Glass, Austria, 1960s

A beautiful drum chandelier in brass from the mid-century, dating from the 1960s, made by J.T. Kalmar, Vienna/Austria. It consists of a metal structure with six solid textured glass panels resembling melting ice, and a dodecagonal glass plate at the bottom. It is mounted on a brass rod with lovely brass details around it. This charming chandelier offers 6 light sources and provides wonderful illumination. In good condition, re-wired, with a charming patina on the brass. The chandelier has a diameter of 33 cm and a height of 46 cm without the round rod. The total adjustable height is 145 cm. We offer to shorten it and re-wire it according to your country's standards at no extra cost.
