Superb antique mirror with a finely carved wooden and stucco frame, adorned with floral decorations and Louis XV-inspired motifs, its subtly aged golden patina reveals the relief of the ornaments and gives it a remarkable presence, both refined and authentic. This mirror, although antique, is in good condition; it has undergone slight restoration to the gilding and there are some signs of wear here and there on the frame, as well as a few specks on the mercury glass, which are quite normal for an item from the 19th century. The quality of the carving work and the balance of proportions make it a strong decorative piece, ideal in a majestic entrance, above a console, in an elegant living room, or placed on the floor for a gallery effect.
