This antique rug has some missing wool at the edges - this model features a sumptuous floral decoration finely drawn, organised around a very pretty bouquet, standing out against a salmon-coloured field with warm hues. The richly adorned borders with scrolls and stylised flowers frame the whole with great harmony, showcasing a workshop craftsmanship of remarkable precision. Knotted in fine high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, this rug offers both flexibility, density, and excellent durability over time. Its subtle colour palette, combining reds, blues, and ivory touches, reveals the elegance of Persian productions from the first half of the 20th century. Origin: Kashan, Iran. Technique: hand-knotted wool on a cotton foundation. An authentic antique Persian rug of great decorative quality, ideal for enhancing an elegant interior, enriching a collection, or serving as a timeless centrepiece.
