Coffee table with system, magic révélation model by albert ducros (1950s). Convertible in a few ultra-simple operations into a dining table for 6! It is made of blond oak veneer with a cast iron system. In coffee table position, it rests on 4 flared legs which support a beautiful veneer marquetry top in excellent condition. There are 4 parts, each with the wood grains in an opposite direction, which forms a beautiful geometric design. We notice a very small veneer recovery on one corner. We then lift one edge, with a single finger, then push the cast iron system inwards, which locks the top. By starting again on the other side, we obtain the same table but this time at dining table height. Then we simply rotate the top then open it in two and place it on the cast iron structure... And there you have it! Delightfully simple. It works perfectly. There are some chips in the veneer on the edges or on the open top and some wear from use, but it is in very good general condition.
