A beautiful room, a beautiful patina. Origin: france - period 1800: This mirror comes from a mansion near caudry in the north of france, a city famous all over the world for its industrial textile activity and especially the lace that has created for the biggest names of french haute couture in: poiret, balenciaga chanel, st laurent, dior... Materials: wood and stuctucne imitation wood - old mercury ice. This superb mirror of louis-philippe period meets all the criteria of requirement: size, elegance, originality and sobriety of the moulding made of doucines opposed to profiles called cavés. Tores of puddings frame the whole, which almost finish to give to this mirror has a modern and contemporary side. The frame has very minimal marks. Beautiful ice in its original state, The mirror is slightly stung, all the charm of the old. It is easy to see why Louis-Philippe mirrors are also present in the decoration logs.
