Mid-Century Table Lamp in Walnut, Brass and Glass, Czech, 1960s

This 1960s table lamp is a stylish example of Czechoslovak design, which skillfully combined various materials at the time to achieve an elegant look. The fixture stands out for its successful contrast between a richly textured white lampshade and a technically precise body that combines warm wood tones with shiny metal elements. The lampshade is made of opal glass with a distinctive three-dimensional relief, which creates an effective play of light and shadow when illuminated. The body of the lamp consists of a wooden supporting part decorated with brass rings, set on a stable metal base, which together gives the lamp a timeless, slightly luxurious feel. The lamp has undergone professional restoration, including a complete replacement of the electrical wiring, making it fully functional and ready for safe operation in a modern interior. Given its perfect condition, high aesthetic level, and growing demand for original 1960s Czechoslovak design accessories, this lamp holds significant collector and interior value.
