Zoomorphic vase depicting an owl. Glazed ceramic in parma, purple and ocher tones. Height 24 cm. Seventies. Very nice overall condition. Note a very slight enamelling defect on the upper left edge, on the top of the left eyelid and on the left eye (see details photos and zoom in). The vase bears in hollow under the base the enamelled signature of la poterie périgordine (founded by the sculptor and modeler jean varoqueaux).
