Jean Batenburg (1906-1990) was a Belgian artist and interior/furniture designer. In the 1960s, he and his wife founded the furniture company E.M.Y., later MI. The company ceased operations in the early 1970s. This table was originally associated with one of the famous pyramid buffets. The Carrara marble top, warm wood, and metallic accents make it an exceptional piece of art. In excellent condition. Diameter 138 cm, height 75 cm.
