Wooden candlestick - Paloma candelabrum

P.I.Project has been celebrating and honouring Mexican craftsmanship for over 10 years. We are a Franco-Mexican project that creates decorative objects for the home, blending contemporary style with traditional techniques, the result of valuable collaborations with our artisan partners. Our wooden candle holder is handcrafted by artisans from a cooperative in Veracruz, made from gliricidia wood, a native tree of the region. Each piece is sanded to achieve the desired shape and quality, and the finish is done with beeswax, thus avoiding the use of varnishes and fillers. The wood used by the cooperative is produced sustainably through reforestation efforts. This carved wooden dove has 5 spaces for candles (2 cm in diameter), and its 5 "wings" are movable, as is its base. Due to the unique nature of the wood and the artisanal process, the candle holder received may slightly differ (lighter or darker wood tone) from the one shown in this image, making each of these pieces unique and special.
