Torpedo dish, or centerpiece, in fine half-porcelain earthenware, stamped kg (keller & guérin) lunéville france, fine street lamp decoration, 15th century shape. Decorated with a bouquet of roses and tulips and scattered flowers on a creamy white background. Scalloped edge, enhanced with a carmine red line. In excellent condition: no accidents, not a scratch. A jewel of French earthenware, both fresh and majestic, "réverbère fin" is an antique decoration that has its origins in Lunéville around 1750. Reflecting the technological innovations of the time, it marked a turning point in the history of French earthenware, inspired others (such as "vieux strasbourg" by Villeroy & Boch and "marlborough" by Spode) and was produced until May 2022, the date of the definitive cessation of activities of the Lunéville & Saint-Clément kg factories. The dish offered here dates from the 1960s-70s. Dimensions: length 66.5 cm, width 25 cm.
